Moon Reading Review: Is MoonReading.com Legit?
By DailyDestiny Editorial Team
The short answer
MoonReading.com is a real company that sells real products, and we found no regulator action or lawsuit against it. It offers a free personalized "video Moon Reading", then sells astrology reports and programs from $11 to $99 that arrive by email within minutes of purchase, through the ClickBank marketplace, which pays affiliates a 75 percent commission on sales. Its own terms of service say the readings are "for entertainment purposes only" and that "other users may receive similar MoonReadings". That is the record. Whether it is worth your money depends on what you think you are buying.
You typed in your birthday and a friendly video started telling you about your Moon sign. It felt personal. Then came the offers. Before you buy, here is what MoonReading.com actually sells, what each reading costs, what its own terms of service say about accuracy and refunds, who is behind it, and why so many "reviews" you will find are written by people paid to sell it.
On this page
Is MoonReading.com legit?
It is late, and you are a little lonely, and an ad promises to reveal "the hidden depths of your personality, relationships and true purpose in life" from your birthday. You type in the date. A soft voice talks about your Moon sign, your gifts, a turning point ahead. It feels as though someone has been paying attention to you.
That feeling is worth protecting. This review is about what sits behind it, so that if you spend money, you spend it with your eyes open.
The public record on Moon Reading is thin. There is no court case, no regulator finding and no investigative news report that we could find. So this review sticks to what can be checked: the site's own pages and terms, archived and dated through the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine; its ClickBank checkout pages as they stood on 29 October 2026; ClickBank's own published descriptions of the offer for affiliates; and its public review profile. Where Moon Reading has made a promise, we quote it.
A word on where we stand. DailyDestiny also sells one astrology reading, and we explain exactly what it is at the end of this page. We have tried to hold Moon Reading to the same standard we hold ourselves to, no stricter.

What does the free moon reading actually sell?
The homepage, archived on 8 October 2026, opens with "Discover the Secrets of Your Moon Sign" and a button for a "Free Personalized Moon Reading", promising to "explore the hidden depths of your personality, relationships and true purpose in life." The FAQ describes it as "the world's first video Moon Reading".
The free reading is the front door. ClickBank, writing to recruit affiliates on 22 November 2024, explained the structure: "Users can put in some bits of information and be presented with a top-level personalized reading regarding their astrological moon sign. With a seven-day funnel, they will have continuous opportunities to expand on their offer." In its monthly Top Offers post, ClickBank told affiliates the offer had a "strong conversion rate and rebill factor" and was "converting well on email".
In plain English: the free video is designed to lead to paid reports, followed up by email over about a week.
There is nothing hidden about this. Most online businesses use a free sample and an email sequence, and DailyDestiny does too. What matters is that you know the free reading is a sales tool, so you can enjoy it as a sample rather than take it as a personal message. The "free reading" has a long history in this industry, used honestly and otherwise; for the best-known case where regulators stepped in, see Miss Cleo: Was She a Real Psychic? The Hotline Truth.
Moon Reading's own FAQ makes two promises about it worth holding the company to: "There is no credit card required, and absolutely no 'free trial' automatic upgrades or nonsense like that," and "We are real people, we'll never send you spam, and you can always unsubscribe in just one click." The four checkouts we opened on 29 October 2026 were all one-time charges with no recurring payment.
How much does Moon Reading cost?
Here is the full shop, as archived on 11 July 2026:
Ultimate Astrology Reading, "50-page reading": $11.
Destiny Moon Reading, "42-page reading": $19.
Personalized Love Reading, "40-page love reading": $11 in the shop, and $14 at the ClickBank checkout we opened on 29 October 2026.
Astrological Transit Guide, "270-page report": $67.
10 Year Golden Transit Guide, "297-page report": $99.
7-Chakra Abundance Pathway, a meditation program: $49.
Soulmate Story and Drawing: $37, sold through a separate ClickBank vendor account, "soulmstory".
Manifestation Meditations: $47.
Buy everything once and you would spend $340.
The upsells. On 29 October 2026, the checkout for the $19 Destiny reading offered to add the Ultimate Astrology Reading "to my order for $11.00". The $11 Ultimate checkout offered the Destiny reading "for just $19!". The Love Reading checkout offered both, describing the Ultimate reading as "an additional 10,000+ word" reading of "your FULL astrological birth chart in shockingly accurate detail". The Soulmate checkout offered a "Soulmate Description + When & Where You Meet + Initials [RECOMMENDED]" for $27 more.
Two things to notice in those page counts. The site's FAQ says the Ultimate reading arrives by email "within 10 minutes of purchase". A 50-page report delivered that fast is put together automatically from your birth details, whatever role astrologers played in writing the original text. That is a fair way to make an affordable product, as long as everyone is clear about it. The second thing is the language at checkout: "shockingly accurate", "When & Where You Meet". Compare that with what the terms of service say about accuracy, below.
What do Moon Reading's own terms of service say?
The terms are the most useful document on the site, because they are where a company makes its legal promises. Moon Reading's were last revised on 8 October 2024 (archived 9 October 2026). Four clauses matter to you.
Entertainment only. "The Services, including any MoonReadings made available to you as part of the Services, are provided for entertainment purposes only. The Services are not error-free and may include content that contains incorrect information."
Not unique. "Your MoonReading and related information provided to you as part of the Services may not be unique and other users may receive similar MoonReadings."
Refunds. "3.6 No Refunds. There are no refunds available for any Offerings on the Services, except as we may choose to offer in our sole discretion on a case by case basis."
Disputes. Binding individual arbitration and a class action waiver, with an opt-out, under California law.
Read the second clause next to the marketing. The homepage promises a "Free Personalized Moon Reading", and the checkout calls the Destiny reading "100% personalized" and the Ultimate reading "shockingly accurate". The terms say your reading "may not be unique". Both can be technically true: a report can use your birth data and still share most of its text with thousands of others born under the same Moon sign. But only one of those statements appears where you decide to buy.
Some buyers have noticed. On Trustpilot, one reviewer wrote on 31 December 2025 that a recent reading was "literally copy and paste of that same one from almost 2 years ago, only the dates were changed." Another, on 12 January 2025, reapplied a year later to compare and wrote: "Would you believe I got the identical reading!!" These are individual customer reports, but they match what the terms allow.
The refund clause is the other contradiction. The terms say no refunds except at the company's discretion. The site's refunds page says something far more generous, and so does ClickBank. In practice, those two generous promises are the ones you should use.
Who is behind Moon Reading?
Here is what the site and its sales partner say, and what is not public.
What the site says. The FAQ, archived 8 October 2026, opens: "My name is Jeremy (on the left). My best friend Brad and I built MoonReading.com to teach people about their Moon Sign and Moon Phase." It promises to "support and add value to the Moon Reading and ThoughtOpera community" and ends "Made with ♥ by ThoughtOpera". The About page describes "our dedicated team of writers, creatives, astrologers and card readers" and a community of "millions". The terms name the operator as MoonReading LLC.
What ClickBank says. ClickBank's affiliate guides of 21 and 22 November 2024 list the vendor name "thoughtop", describe Moon Reading as "related to Numerologist", another spirituality offer on the same marketplace, and give "Brad" as the affiliate manager with a moonreading.com email address. The homepage links to a sister site, mooncards.com.
What is not public. The site does not name its astrologers, and none of the pages we checked gives a street address or the founders' full names. We found no public complaint from a regulator and no lawsuit.
Not naming your writers is common for a content business, and a two-founder company selling software-built reports is not suspicious in itself. It does mean that when the homepage speaks of "astrologers", you have no way to find out who they are or what part they play in the reading you receive.
Why are so many Moon Reading reviews so positive?
Because a lot of them are adverts. ClickBank pays affiliates 75 percent of each sale (ClickBank, 22 November 2024), so a $19 reading earns the person who referred you about $14. That creates a whole industry of "review" pages whose job is to send you to the checkout.
The "[Insert Price]" press release. On 5 May 2025, a publisher calling itself "Moon Reading Reviews" posted Moon Reading Reviews and Complaints: An Honest 2025 Review! on openPR, filed under Health & Medicine. It sends readers out through a shortened link labelled "Click Here to Order from the Official Website and Secure the Best Price Now!" and lists prices as "Free Moon Reading: $0" and "Ultimate Astrology Reading: [Insert Price]". The template placeholder was never filled in.
The disclosed affiliate release. On 17 October 2025, an ACCESS Newswire release titled Moon Reading Review 2025: Honest Look at Accuracy, Pricing, Complaints, and Legitimacy states that it "contains affiliate links" and that "the publisher may earn a commission." It concludes: "Moon Reading operates as a legitimate online astrology platform, not a scam." To its credit, it also lists complaints about "unclear pricing", "optional upsells" and slow refund replies.
The independent picture. On 29 October 2026, Trustpilot showed 23 reviews for moonreading.com, a TrustScore of 2.3, and about 70 percent one-star ratings, on an unclaimed profile. That is a small sample, and unhappy customers are more likely to post. But it is written by buyers, not sellers.
ClickBank itself told affiliates in 2024 that Moon Reading "is spoken of highly in Facebook comments, praising the accuracy and attention to detail." Comments under an ad are part of the ad. When you search for whether something is legit, the honest test is simple: does the page earn money if you buy? If it does, read it as a sales page, however it is titled.
There is an irony in this that we have to own. This page also discusses a product we sell. We do not earn anything if you buy from Moon Reading, and we have no affiliate link to it anywhere on our site.
How to decide whether to buy from Moon Reading
Ask these five questions before you pay for any online reading, Moon Reading's or ours.
1. Is it written by a person or by software? If the site does not say, assume software, and price it accordingly.
2. Is it unique to me? Look for the terms of service, search for "unique" or "similar", and believe the terms over the ad.
3. What happens after I pay? Look for upsells at checkout and expect follow-up emails. Moon Reading's are one-time charges, but the offers keep coming.
4. How do I get my money back? Note the refund window and the email address before you buy. For Moon Reading, both its refunds page and ClickBank promise 60 days.
5. Who is telling me it is good? If the review links to a checkout, it is an advert.
If you have already bought and want a refund, email Moon Reading's support address with your ClickBank receipt number, citing its 60-day refund page. If you hear nothing within a few days, contact ClickBank customer support through the link on your receipt or on 1-800-390-6035, the number shown at checkout. If you paid by card and both fail, your card issuer can help.
How can you find your moon sign for free?
Here is the good news at the heart of all this: your Moon sign is free. It depends on where the Moon was in the zodiac when you were born, and that is simple astronomy any calculator can do. Our free birth chart page shows your Sun, Moon and rising sign with no email and no payment, and you can see where the Moon is tonight on our moon page.
To understand what your Moon sign means, Big Three Astrology: What Your Sun, Moon and Rising Signs Mean Together explains how the three work together. If you follow the Indian tradition, Vedic Moon Sign (Chandra Rashi): Your Emotional Blueprint in Jyotish covers the sidereal Moon sign, which is often different.
We sell one thing, so here is exactly what it is. Your Year Ahead is a reading computed by software from your birthday and the real positions of the planets over your next 12 months. Software writes it, and we say so. The sky in it is the same for anyone born on your birthday. It has one price shown before you pay, no subscription and no upsell at checkout, and if it does not speak to you, you can ask for a full refund within 30 days. Its own page says it is a tool for reflection, not a prediction.
There is nothing wrong with enjoying a reading made by software, as long as you know that is what it is. The magic of astrology, if you feel it, is in the sky and in how you reflect on it. A reading should help you do that honestly, and at a price that respects you.
Questions people ask
Is MoonReading.com legit?
It is a real business that delivers what it sells: astrology reports built from your birth details and delivered within minutes, priced from $11 to $99 in its own shop and paid through the ClickBank marketplace. We found no regulator action or lawsuit against it. Its own terms of service, last revised on 8 October 2024, say the readings are "provided for entertainment purposes only" and that "other users may receive similar MoonReadings". Whether that is worth your money depends on what you expect: a personal astrologer's insight, or a template built around your birth date.
Is Moon Reading a scam?
We found no court case, regulator action or official finding against Moon Reading, so we will not call it a scam. What the record does show: it is sold through ClickBank with a 75 percent affiliate commission, which explains the flood of glowing "reviews"; its terms say readings may not be unique; and its Trustpilot page on 29 October 2026 showed 23 reviews with a 2.3 TrustScore, most of them one star. Judge it on those facts.
How much does Moon Reading cost?
The free video reading costs nothing and, according to the site's FAQ, needs no credit card. Its shop, archived on 11 July 2026, listed an Ultimate Astrology Reading at $11, a Destiny Moon Reading at $19, a Personalized Love Reading at $11, an Astrological Transit Guide at $67, a 10 Year Golden Transit Guide at $99, a 7-Chakra Abundance Pathway at $49, a Soulmate Story and Drawing at $37 and Manifestation Meditations at $47. On 29 October 2026 the ClickBank checkout for the Love Reading showed $14.
Can I get a refund from Moon Reading?
Yes, in practice, through two routes. Moon Reading's refunds page (archived 19 May 2026) promises "a full refund within 60 days of purchase" by email. ClickBank's checkout, checked on 29 October 2026, promises it will "allow for the return or replacement of any product within 60 days from the date of purchase". Be aware that the site's terms of service say something stricter: "There are no refunds available for any Offerings on the Services, except as we may choose to offer in our sole discretion." If one route is slow, use the other.
Who owns Moon Reading?
Its terms say the site is operated on behalf of MoonReading LLC and governed by California law. Its FAQ is signed by "Jeremy", who says he and his best friend Brad built the site, and it is marked "Made with ♥ by ThoughtOpera". Its products are sold by the ClickBank vendor account "thoughtop", and ClickBank's own affiliate guides list Brad as the affiliate manager. The site does not publish a street address on the pages we checked.
What is CLKBANK*MoonReading on my statement?
It is a charge for a Moon Reading product bought through ClickBank, the online retailer that processes its payments. The checkout pages we opened on 29 October 2026 said: "Your purchase will appear on your bank statement under the name CLKBANK*MoonReading." The site's FAQ also mentions CLKBANK*ThoughtOpera. If you do not recognise the charge, contact ClickBank customer support, listed at checkout as 1-800-390-6035.
Is the free moon reading really free?
The site's FAQ says: "There is no credit card required, and absolutely no 'free trial' automatic upgrades or nonsense like that." The free reading is the start of a sales path. ClickBank's own description for affiliates in November 2024 spoke of "a seven-day funnel" with "continuous opportunities to expand on their offer". Expect emails and offers for paid reports after the free video.
Are Moon Reading reviews real?
Many of the "reviews" that rank in search are advertising. An openPR "press release" titled Moon Reading Reviews and Complaints: An Honest 2025 Review!, published on 5 May 2025, links to an order page and lists one product price as "[Insert Price]", a template placeholder never filled in. An ACCESS Newswire release of 17 October 2025 discloses that it "contains affiliate links" and concludes that Moon Reading is "not a scam". Independent reviews on Trustpilot are fewer and mostly negative.
How can I find my moon sign for free?
Your Moon sign depends on where the Moon was when you were born, which is simple astronomy. Any reputable free birth chart calculator will show it from your birth date, time and place. You can use ours with no email and no payment. If you do not know your birth time, the Moon may have changed signs that day, so the calculator may show two possibilities.
What does today hold for you?
Pop in your birthday. Your reading shows up right here. No email, no account.
